Magic Bullet 18 submissions call

Hi Folks -

I wanted to let you know that the deadline for MAGIC BULLET #18 will be MONDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 2018. This issue will have no theme, so feel free to take an open approach.

The specs and guidelines remain the same as always:

1) Live area is 9.5" x 15". There is no bleed, so anything outside of those dimensions will either be cut off or shrunk down to fit 9.5" x 15". If you want your panels to appear on a black background, you'll still need to design your comic within that 9.5" x 15" space.

2) 300 dpi for grayscale, 600 dpi for black and white line art

3) Flattened tiff or pdf. Please, make sure you flatten your files. Art files can be enormous when they're not flat, and if your file seems overly large, we may ask you to look at it again and resubmit it.

Information about specs and guidelines can be found at: http://magicbulletcomics.blogspot.com/p/submissions.html

No need to email us if you're planning to submit, just if you have any questions.

If you're getting this email, it's because you've either been in a past issue, or because you've expressed an interest in participating. If you'd prefer not to get any notices, please let us know and we'll promptly remove you from our list.

As always, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Magic Bullet 17 - Open Call

Just a heads up to all that are interested that the deadline for MAGIC BULLET #16 will be FRIDAY, AUGUST 17, 2018. This issue has no theme.

The specs and guidelines remain the same as always:

1) Live area is 9.5" x 15". There is no bleed, so even if you want your panels to appear on a black background, that background has to fit within 9.5" x 15".

2) 300 dpi for grayscale, 600 dpi for black and white line art

3) Flattened tiff or pdf. Please, do make sure you flatten your files. Art files can be enormous when they're not flat, and if your file seems overly large, we may ask you to look at it again and resubmit it.
